Asteria formed in mid 2007 under the name of Avenge The Hero. Orginally starting out as a 5 peice hardcore screamo band from a small town with only one purpose in mind. Make music, bring a long needed music scene to our town, win talent show, and most importantly...show everyone excatly what we're made of. Ok that was more than one, but you get our point.
In August 5th 2007, Avenge The Hero performed at thier first show opening up for Doubt The Lie, Ashes Of Serentity and Angerstrike. And our rep and fan base began to shoot through the roof.
Several months or so later, ATH went through some line up changes, loosing our lead singer Ethan White, and our 3rd Guitar player, Alex Ratliff. Leaving only 3 of the 5 orginal members left. Andrew Prater, Zack Pugh, and Josh Pugh.
One year later, Avenge The Hero decided to continue on with what we love and enjoy doing. Thus, Asteria rose from the ashes! Hitting a recording studio Feburary 2nd, 2008. To record thier self titled EP. Which will be release 02/ 15/08.
